Established in 2020, Aegis Renewable Tech Solutions brings a combined experience of almost 90 years worth of Project EPC among its members. While working for various companies during their career, our members have worked on over IGW worth of Solar Projects in various countries all around the globe and in multiple capacities.
Our goal is to implement both traditional solar systems and introduce and implement innovative technologies like Floating Solar into the Indian Market, through which we will be able to provide our clients with the best possible solution for their solar needs.
We have experienced engineers who ensure the high-quality design of On-Grid and Off-Grid solar projects. Our team has worked extensively on both Rooftop and Ground Mount Solar Projects. Our goal is to provide our clients with the best possible solution at the lowest possible price while ensuring that the project is delivered on time.

There is a lack of cutting-edge technology in the field of solar energy in India and we intend to bring together the technology, land and expertise required for successful solar project implementation.
How can we change the world? By changing the narrative around solar power. Every day, 240 million people in India live without electricity. The increased rate of population growth has resulted in a spike in the consumption of resources such as land. The source of many political clashes this century has been over the topic of energy. As a company based out of Kolkata — one of India’s largest commercial hubs, we envision a world completely reliant on clean energy, with Aegis aiding in the creation of a pollution-free power generation sector. Our founders Rupen Nath Majumdar and Rwiddhiman Majumdar have a combined experience of 50 years in the power industry having worked on end-to-end project design and execution.
Traditional solar systems are limited in terms of placement. Floating Solar Systems, however, can be installed to function on any inland bodies of water that are large enough, such as lakes, dams, reservoirs, etc., reaping the environmental and economic benefits. A perfect blend of technology, passion and experience has helped Aegis Renewable Tech Solutions’ founders to introduce floating solar systems with a sun-tracking solution to the renewable energy market. Our technology partner, SolarisFloat, is the only company on a global scale, with a floating solar sun-tracking solution, called PROTEVS™.
